Who We Are - or Were...
Falcon Computers was established in 2000 by owner David Wood, although David had already been doing business for two years prior to that. It started as a hobby, but more precisely as a necessity. David is known by many in Clermont for the years when he taught at First Christian Church School (known now as Real Life Christian Academy), beginning in 1983. Then for the next ten years he was the preacher at First Christian Church (known now as Real Life Christian Church). During that time a transition was made in the church office from using typewriters to using computers. The problem was that no one at the church knew anything about computers. David became, by necessity, the resident computer "expert". Over the next few years a necessity developed into a hobby, and a hobby into a part-time business, and ultimately a full-time business. But...Beginning in 2023 Dave became semi-retired. We sold our home in Clermont and are now living and working out of our home outside of Howey in the Hills.

- As of October 1, 2025 Falcon Computers has been officially shut down. Dave has moved into the next phase of retirement: taking care of our chickens, cows and garden. But...
- Dave will still work on computers and computer related issues, but as David Wood, not Falcon Computer Services. That means we no longer take credit cards, but will take cash, Venmo, Zelle, Apple Cash, the Cash App and PayPal. If an invoice is needed, it will be from David Wood, not Falcon Computer Services.
- As before, you can still bring your computer to us, or we can come to you for on-site computer repair and service.
- We do: Repair; Hardware setup; Software installation; "How-to-help"; System upgrades; Malware removal; Networking, etc.
